rainy day yet again

woke up late again today. Jianfu will be in Melbourne from today till 2nd July. met him and had lunch at Spicy Fish. sigh, i feel that animals in the tank are like on death penalty. waiting for prosecution. that is why i don't take live seafood. i don't want to order to kill.




wanted to bring Jianfu to St. Peter's Cathedral, Parliament House, City Museum, Windsor Hotel and Princess Theatre which are all around Spring St but unfortunately the rain just got heavier and heavier. we were all half drenched and cold. no point holding umbrellas because the wind is famous for damaging them. we decided to go somewhere cosy to have a cuppa. the place that came to my mind instantly is Cafe e Torta where my favourite Belgian waffles and hot chocolate are.



still some time before our movie so we just hung around Melbourne Central. arrived just in time to watch the clock plays the nice chime(Waltzing Matilda) every hour.



this clock opens up and the figures in there will move.

bought tickets to advanced screening of Knocked Up the day before. its a funny show! place to watch is non other than favourite cinema Greater Union.



we ate again after the show. Japanese food at Yoyogi. didnt like the food there last year. but it seems to have improved and their serving is so big. their tea tastes good too.
